This conference focuses on Supporting & Developing the role of Lived Experience as well as involving patients in leadership positions. The conference will also cover how patient leadership can influence quality improvement for NHS Trusts and mental health services by looking at examples from across the country.
Understanding people’s lived experience, is a powerful way of helping us improve existing services and identify new and better ways to meet their needs.

This conference will enable you to:

- How services have positively changed because of input from partners with Lived Experience
- Experiences of different levels of support & care by region and what needs to change
- Sharing personal experiences of services for people with mental health problems or learning disabilities
- Self assess and reflect on your own practice
- Supports CPD professional development and acts as revalidation evidence. This course provides 5 Hrs training for CPD subject to peer group approval for revalidation purposes
