The Masterclass will present the Hope for Children and Families (HfCF) modular approach to developing core therapeutic skills to work with:
- the most common forms of mental health problems in childhood: anxiety, depression, and traumatic symptoms
- the over-lapping mental health responses to the stressful and traumatic responses to Covid-19 and its impact on children and young people’s lives
This masterclass can be attended as a stand alone course, or to complement attendance at Core skills for practitioners working with Children and Young People’s disruptive and challenging behaviour with the same facilitators and modular approach.
Practitioners in all social care, health, education/schools and youth justice settings who need to develop their skills in working with children and young people who have problems with their mental health should attend this masterclass.
